ASSEMBLY SYSTEM

A high quality school assembly is one of the most important aspect of our school’s everyday learn culture. We at VMS believe that a multidimensional assembly creates an environment conducive to growth, in which pupils learn their academic stuff more effectively and learn in a valued and structured environment.

Our assembly system serves to develop a positive school ethos that affirms the school’s identity & aspirations. The result being that the school lives in cohesive harmony that sustains the pursuit of excellence in all its forms. So what we demonstrate in assembly is a complex web of ideas, observations & intentions woven to make a perfect start of the day’s learning. Design of our assembly is thus structured; Queued in class wise rows for boys and girls in the Sadbhavana Ground of Biley Vihar campus makes a beautiful & pleasant scenario. The assembly is conducted on the basis of house with weekly turn commanded by a team of 25 boys and girls of Vivekanand Brigade Mission. The Brigadier Mission with the other House and Class Brigades command the whole system on drumbeat from the PODIUM. The sound system with microphones make the whole surrounding pleasant and divine through sweet voice of Chanting prayers, Gayatri Mantra, Saraswati Vandana, National songs and National Anthem followed by informative events such as talks on General Knowledge, Current affairs, speech on any national or Social issues, Caricature, new scientific facts are delivered and songs , skits poems and rhymes from the kids are presented. Regular address by the Principal, Teacher or the Director make the students learn in a very Calm & Friendly educational environment. After the P.T on Drumbeat the assembly disperses in queue towards their respective classrooms in a marathon Style on drumbeats.

Thus our school assembly system is a reflection of wholeness of community, it’s a creative visualization of our society and world around. It helps pupil focus upon the positive aspects of life on which they can build values, the values which represent a universal set of abstracts like love, peace, truth, co operation respect and a better understanding. Assembly forms a foundation for the development of personal, social, spiritual, moral and cultural parts of the school curriculum. Here a world citizen is being born with our institutional values.
