Socio-Cultural, Educational And Environmental Drives
Since its inceptions the Vivekanand Mission School has undertaken several Socio- Cultural, Educational and Environmental awareness drives.
The month of July every year is dedicated to such drives in which students are visiting the nearby villages in groups and awaring the masses regarding sanitation, child education, pollution control, water management as well as the environment. Thousands of plants have already been planted and maintained by the students in nearby areas. Our drives are so forceful that Mr.S.Siddharth the then district magistrate of Aurangabad (Bihar) planted tree in the campus and officially declared the one kilometer stretch of land nearby school as vivekanand sadbhavna udyan.
During summer and other long vacations the school undertakes “visit the door” drive through which the school teachers are visiting the houses of students to check out their life style, academics and other social behavior.
The school is the brand leader of introducing for the first time in the history of the town, the colorful jhanki, cultural programmes and animation on burning topics. The school is being awarded every year for these activities by administration on the occasion of Republic day and Independence day.
We are fond of extending support to central government/state government and local administration during man made or natural calamities. The school with its students and teachers wiped out the tears of sunami victims, Earthquake victims at Bhuj in Gujarat. Sufferers of Cargill war, Bihar and Orissa floods by transferring funds to CM/PM Relief fund.
The school is committed to extend its support for issues of social and national importance.
