Curriculum

The school strictly follows the curriculum and the uniform systems of assessment prescribed by CBSE for all round development of the child’s personality. It includes assessment in Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic aspects of the pupil’s growth. Scholastic aspects include curricular areas or subject specific areas, whereas co-scholastic aspect include Life Skills, Co-Curricular activities, Attitudes and Values. Assessment in scholastic areas is done informally and formally suing multiple techniques of evaluation continually and periodically. School supplies a detailed syllabus based on CBSE pattern to every student before start of new session. Academic calendar maintaining all the activities and schedule of the school is also supplied to the students for smooth functioning and reference of school curriculum. Established in the Year 1997 by Dr. Shambhu Sharan Singh, in a rented house near Bazar Samiti in the name of VIVEKANAND SCHOOL OF EDUCATION the sapling of the multidimensional knowledge and wisdom shifted to a new campus on 12the January 2003 (The Swami Vivekanand Jayanti) in the name VIVEKANAND MISSION SCHOOL, Biley Vihar, which is now spreading the fragrance of knowledge amalgamated with the essence of spiritualism of the east and the scientific tempers of the west to the modern global society. Aiming at all-round harmonious development of the students’ personality and balanced physical growth of body, mind and soul, the school emphasizes promotion of excellence in the field of education and particularly for those who have immense potential but not harnessed due to lack of suitable educational opportunities.
