TECHNOLOGY EMPOWERED CLASSROOMS

Computer Aided Teaching and Learning through Smart Class using BIG Screens facilitated for all classes. Smart Class is a highly interactive computer based aid which makes lessons come alive. Through the Smart class program teachers use digital resources such as Animation Clips, Videos, Diagrams, Maps, Graphs, Working models, Computer based simulations etc. from the vast repository, while teaching the chosen topic in the classroom enabling students to acquire a faster and a better understanding of the concepts taught. Through the internet teachers connect to information resources far beyond the physical confines of the classroom and bring the virtual world within the walls of the classroom thus exponentially increasing the knowledge base for practical use in teaching and learning.

PHYSICS LAB.

To intimate the spirit of physical sciences, a 20’X30’.m3 , well furnished, ventilated and spacious physics lab Lies alternately too the chemistry lab. The lab has a systematic connection of variable A.C. and D.C. voltage lines at each table. High quality digital balances, thermometer, gauges, calipers, sliders, eliminators and electric gadgets present here can measure even the smallest value of related parameter with accuracy. The lab has a capacity to accommodate 30 students at a time. Separate optics, electricity and mechanics sector makes the lab more lucid to use. The lab has sufficient appraise for experiment up to +2 level.

CHEMISTRY LAB.

To boost the students with the spark of chemistry and build an easy and methodological scientific learning a 20’X34’ .m3 spacious and well ventilated chemistry lab lies at the heart of the main academic block on first floor. The lab can accommodate 40 students at a time comfortably. Advanced LPG gas pipelines connections and numerous water basins make the lab a true home for learning scientific values. The lab has a distinct set of organic and organic chemicals, gadgets, folios and indicators. Availability of high quality lab appraise and sophisticated buretting and pipetting channels has made the lab a destination for research work for not up to +2 level but up to undergraduate level.

BIOLOGY LAB.

A 20’X25’ m3 biology lab also lies alternate to the chemistry lab. The lab is well equipped with 30 non- working models and demonstrating models of various plants and animals parts. The Zoology as well as the Botany section of the lab contains more than 50 live specimens. High power simple, compound and dissection microscope serve the purpose of nano- observation and experimentation. A specimen of human skeletor present here provokes the students a sense of scientific learning. The lab has a capacity to accommodate 30 students at a time.

COMPUTER LAB

To get suited with changing world, a well furnished and well Equipped computer lab is established with all the necessary Modern facilities which provides the students the latest Knowledge of computer programming, and software. The lab is equipped with 40 Hi-tech and high quality PC installed with windows operating system. The internet facilities is also available in the lab. Separate computer labs (seniors and juniors) are available in the campus.

RAMKRISHNA PARAMHANS LIBRAARY

Ramkrishna Paramhans Library, a very rich, well furnished and well maintained library has been set up in the school in honour of Shree Ramkrishna Paramhans, the guru of Swami Vivekanand . There is a collection of more than ten thousand five hundred books on all aspects of different faculties including literacy and classic books of eminent scholars. This library is specialized for Vivekanand’s collection. Many outside scholars have visited this library for their research work on Vivekanand and his philosophy.

Along with referential books and subject wise, encyclopedia, there are modern dictionaries, journal, diaries and magazines. A well managed, beautifully furnished and academically equipped 58’x25′ sq.ft. big hall of RKP Library has provision of reading room and reference room for students & teachers.

SPORTS

School has playground for cricket, badminton, volleyball and various indoor games facility .

HOSTEL

Hostel is available for all the classes with best lodging and fooding facilities. There is special tuitions and guidance facility for students residing in hostel.

TRANSPORT

VMS is proud to own 35 well furnished buses that ply in all directions of the city in about 30 kms. Radius. All the buses have GPS facilities which ensures the safety and discipline of the students in their to and fro journey. All the buses are driven by experienced licensed drivers who are strictly instructed to govern the speed of the vehicles as per the government/CBSE norms and for this purpose “SPEED GOVERNORS” are fitted in all the school buses. Every bus is attended by a helper who helps the students in boarding and alighting.Transport is Available on all routes.
